One of Notre Dame’s top commits in the 2018 class is Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township wide receiver Micah Jones. A four-star recruit and the No. 172 overall player in the country, Jones has never been overly productive in the past due to playing in a run-heavy offense.

Through six games of his senior season, though, he has already racked up more receiving yards than he had the last two seasons combined. Jones has 37 catches for 556 yards and eight scores (the numbers he provided in the interview below were prior to his most recent game).

Jones has had more than 100 yards in three of his last four games, and the only game he failed to top the century mark he hauled in four passes for 68 yards and a pair of scores while playing just a half as Warren Township blew out Mundelein (Ill.) High by a score of 48-7.

Jones recently sat down with one of the titans of the industry, Tom Lemming, to talk about his senior season, about hit future at Notre Dame and about head coach Brian Kelly’s dancing ability.
