Kingsley Suamataia, the top recruit in the state of Utah in the 2021 class according to Rivals, has earned more than 30 scholarship offers during his recruiting process. The Orem (Utah) High standout, who Rivals ranks as the nation’s No. 98 overall prospect, is taking everything in.
“It’s going like I thought it would,” Suamataia said. “I learned a lot from my past teammates. They said to take it easy, and I’ve been taking everything by day by. I’m enjoying the recruiting process.”
Certainly, a factor that is going outside of what Suamataia could have imagined is a special dead period enacted by the NCAA from mid-March to at least the end of May due to COVID-19. He was planning to visit a number of schools this spring and will look to make some visits once all of this is over.
Back in December, the 6-5, 285-pounder added Notre Dame to his long offer list.
