It is no secret Notre Dame is searching to add multiple cornerbacks in the 2018 class after striking out during the 2017 cycle.

The Irish have several options on the board and added another tonight.

Per his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson 2018 cornerback Noah Boykin.

The 6-2, 170-pounder committed to Maryland on July 5. His profile also lists offers from Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, USC, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and several others.

Boykin ranks as the No. 24 cornerback in the class and the No. 2 player in the Washington, D.C. area.

He tells Blue & Gold Illustrated he plans to visit Notre Dame "soon." Defensive backs coach Todd Lyght extended the offer.

Stay tuned to Blue & Gold for more from Boykin and his newest offer from the Irish.
