Plenty of Notre Dame’s commitments and top targets continued their 2017 prep seasons last week. Below you will find a recap of how each commit and top target performed in their respective games.

IRISH COMMITS

Class of 2018

• DT Jayson Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: St. Peter’s Prep fell 28-21 to Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep at Widener University.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) will be off this week and returns to action Sept. 23 against West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep.

• DE Justin Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Recorded a sack, per PennLive.com, but St. Peter’s Prep’s 28-21 loss to Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep at Widener University.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) will be off this week and returns to action Sept. 23 against West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep.

• S Derrik Allen — Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter

Last Week: Did not play.

This Week: Lassiter (3-0) will host Marietta (Ga.) High (3-0), which features four-star 2018 defensive end Azeez Ojulari and highly touted 2020 quarterback Harrison Bailey.

• WR Kevin Austin — Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep

Last Week: Game canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: North Broward Prep (2-0) will host Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Westminster Academy (0-2).

• LB Matthew Bauer — Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep

Last Week: Cathedral Prep continued their dominance to open the 2017 season with a 63-7 win over Erie (Pa.) McDowell (1-2), allowing 190 yards of total offense … The Cathedral Prep defense has allowed just 14 points in three games.

This Week: Cathedral Prep (3-0) will host Cleveland Benedictine (3-0).

• OT John Dirksen — Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local

Last Week: The Flyers pulled off a 13-7 win over Coldwater (Ohio) High (1-2).

This Week: Marion Local (3-0) will host Minster (Ohio) High (3-0).

• DT Ja’Mion Franklin — Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline

Last Week: Blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown in a 49-6 win over Salisbury (Md.) Parkside (1-1).

This Week: North Caroline (2-0) will travel to Cambridge (Md.) Cambridge-South Dorchester (0-2).

• WR Micah Jones — Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township

Last Week: Recorded eight catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in a 26-10 win over Libertyville (Ill.) High (1-1).

This Week: Warren Township (1-1) will travel to Lake Forest (Ill.) High (2-1).

• QB Phil Jurkovec — Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland

Last Week: Put on another show, registering five total touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Harmony (Pa.) Seneca Valley (0-2) … Finished 15-of-22 passing for 254 yards with three scores and recorded two more touchdowns on the ground, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette … All five touchdowns came in the first half.

This Week: Pine-Richland (3-0) will host Pittsburgh Penn Hills (3-0).

• LB Jack Lamb — Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak

Last Week: Great Oak had a bye this week … Lamb is currently sidelined with a knee injury.

THis Week: Great Oak (1-1) will travel to Phelan (Calif.) Serrano (0-3).

• OT Cole Mabry — Brentwood (Tenn.) High

Last Week: Brentwood remained undefeated with 42-7 win over Smyrna (Tenn.) Stewarts Creek (2-2).

This Week: Brentwood (4-0) will play at Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood (3-1).

• LB Ovie Oghoufo — Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison

Last Week: Harrison moved to 2-1 on the season with a 47-8 win over Rochester Hills (Mich.) Stoney Creek (1-2) … Per his Hudl film from the game, he recorded two sacks and broke up one pass on defense, while adding a 51-yard run plus three catches for 56 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.

This Week: Harrison will travel to Birmingham (Mich.) Seaholm (1-2).

• ROV Shayne Simon — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Caught 10 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-21 loss to Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep at Widener University.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) will be off this week and returns to action Sept. 23 against West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep.

• RB Jahmir Smith — Sanford (N.C.) Lee County

Last Week: Did not play, per The Sanford Herald, in a 55-27 over Raeford (N.C.) Hoke County (0-3).

This Week: Lee County (4-0) will travel to Morehead City (N.C.) West Carteret (4-0).

• RB Markese Stepp — Indianapolis Cathedral

Last Week: Had a touchdown in limited action in a 34-14 win over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (1-3).

This Week: Cathedral (1-3) will be on the road against Cincinnati St. Xavier (3-0).

• TE George Takacs — Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast

Last Week: Game canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: Gulf Coast (2-0) will be on the road against Naples (Fla.) High (1-1).

Class of 2019

• DT Jacob Lacey — Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren

Last Week: Notched five tackles, including four for loss, per his father, in a 27-17 win over Cecilia (Ky.) Central Hardin (2-2).

This Week: South Warren (4-0) will host Leitchfield (Ky.) Grayson County (1-3).

• QB Cade McNamara — Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch

Last Week: Completed 8 of 11 passes for 178 yards with four touchdowns in a 55-0 home victory against Reno (Nev.) Hug (0-3). McNamara.

This Week: Damonte Ranch (3-0) will be on the road to take on Sparks (Nev.) Spanish Springs (2-1).

TOP IRISH TARGETS

Class of 2018

• DE Thomas Booker — Baltimore Gilman

Last Week: Fell 24-17 to North Bethesda (Md.) Georgetown Prep (2-0).

This Week: Gilman (0-3) will travel to Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal (1-0), which features Notre Dame 2019 safety target Litchfield Ajavon.

• CB Tariq Bracy — Milpitas (Calif.) High

Last Week: Recorded four tackles and two interceptions in a 52-6 win over Berkeley (Calif.) High (1-1) … Also rushed for 64 yards and touchdown, plus caught two passes for 68 yards and a score.

This Week: Milpitas (3-0) will be on the road against Salinas (Calif.) High (1-1).

• CB Donte Burton — Loganville (Ga.) High

Last Week: Fell 21-3 to Covington (Ga.) Eastside (3-1).

This Week: Loganville (0-3) will host Winder (Ga.) Winder-Barrow (3-0).

• CB Kalon Gervin — Detroit Cass Tech

Last Week: Part of defense which helped Cass Tech to a 53-6 win over Detroit Ford (2-1).

This Week: Cass Tech (2-1) will face Detroit Edison Academy (0-3) at a neutral site.

• S Julius Irvin — Anaheim (Calif.) Servite

Last Week: Made seven tackles, had three punt returns for 114 yards and caught one pass for 37 yards in a 52-26 win over Eastvale (Calif.) Roosevelt (1-1).

This Week: Servite (3-0) will host Villa Park (Calif.) High (2-0).

• WR Lawrence Keys — New Orleans McDonogh

Last Week: McDonogh 35 won 76-0 over Marrero (La.) L.W. Higgins (0-2).

This Week: McDonogh 35 (2-1) will be on the road against Reserve (La.) East St. John (2-1).

• S D’Angelo McKenzie — San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian

Last Week: Broke up one pass and returned four punt for 34 yards in a win over Chico (Calif.) Pleasant Valley (1-2).

This Week: Valley Christian (2-1) has a bye.

• S Paul Moala — Mishawaka (Ind.) Penn

Last Week: Returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown in a 38-17 win at home over Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary Prep (0-3).

This Week: Penn (3-1) will be at home facing South Bend (Ind.) Adams (0-4).

• OT Chris Murray — Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Last Week: Helped pave the way for 496 total yards (223 rushing) in a 42-0 win over La Mirada (Calif.) High (0-3).

This Week: Mater Dei (3-0), which ranks No. 1 per USA Today, will face New Jersey power Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic at a neutral site.

• OT Nick Petit-Frere — Tampa Berkeley Prep
