The 2017 prep season continues to roll on for Notre Dame’s class of 2018 and 2019 commits. Read below to see how each player fared this past week on the field.

Class of 2018

• DT Jayson Ademilola— Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Helped lead St. Peter’s to a 22-21 win over Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic (3-2).

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (4-1) will travel to Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (3-2).

• DE Justin Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Helped lead St. Peter’s to a 22-21 win over Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic (3-2).

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (4-1) will travel to Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (3-2).

• S Derrik Allen— Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter

Last Week: Recorded five tackles, a 41-yard reception and two two-point conversions in a 36-30 loss to Roswell (Ga.) High (2-4).

This Week: Lassiter (4-2) will travel to Woodstock (Ga.) High (4-2).

• WR Kevin Austin — Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep

Last Week: Austin had a 50-yard rushing touchdown and a 46-yard reception touchdown in a 41-19 win over Miami LaSalle (0-4).

This Week: North Broward (5-1) will be on the road against Key West (Fla.) High (4-0).

• LB Matthew Bauer — Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep

Last Week: Recorded 12 tackles and a one-yard rushing touchdown in a 33-23 win over Warren (Mich.) De La Salle Collegiate (5-2).

This Week: Cathedral Prep (7-0) will host Toronto (Canada) West Toronto Prep.

• OT John Dirksen— Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local

Last Week: Notched a 44-7 win over New Bremen (Ohio) High (4-4).

This Week: Marion Local (7-0) will host Fort Recovery (Ohio) High (4-3).

• DT Ja’Mion Franklin— Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline

Last Week: North Caroline continued to dominate the competition with a 42-3 win over Easton (Md.) High (2-4).

This Week: North Caroline (6-0) will host Worton (Md.) Kent County (1-5).

• WR Micah Jones — Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township

Last Week: Picked up a 34-0 win over Waukegan (Ill.) High (0-5). Per MaxPreps, Jones caught two passes for 19 yards in the win. Has 39 catches for 575 yards and eight scores on the season.

This Week: Warren Township (5-2) will travel to Zion (Ill.) Zion-Benton (3-4).

• QB Phil Jurkovec— Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland

Last Week: Completed 14 of 14 passes for 244 yards three touchdowns in a 56-7 victory over McMurray (Pa.) Peters Township (5-1) … Added 20 yards on three rushing attempts …Jurkovec surpassed 6,000 career passing yards in the win. For the season, has completed 114 of 149 passes (74.1 percent) for 1,845 yards with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions … Also has 42 carries for 332 yards and 12 scores.

This Week: Pine-Richland (6-0) will travel to Pittsburgh Shaler Area (0-7).

• LB Jack Lamb— Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak

Last Week: Remains sidelined by a knee injury. Great Oak picked up a 31-14 win over Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral (4-2).

This Week: Great Oak (3-3) will host Temecula (Calif.) Temecula Valley (0-6).

• OT Cole Mabry — Brentwood (Tenn.) High

Last Week: Improved to 7-1 on the season with a 42-21 win over Nashville (Tenn.) Father Ryan (3-5),.

This Week: Brentwood (7-1) has a bye.

• LB Ovie Oghoufo— Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison

Last Week: Recorded several tackles and three catches for 75 yards on offense in a 17-14 win over Oak Park (Mich.) High (6-1).

This Week: Harrison (5-2) will host Berkley (Mich.) High (1-6).

• ROV Shayne Simon— Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Helped lead St. Peter’s to a 22-21 win over Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic (3-2).

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (4-1) will travel to Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (3-2).

• RB Jahmir Smith— Sanford (N.C.) Lee County

Last Week: Lee County recorded its sixth shutout in seven games this season defeating Angier (N.C.) Harnett Central (1-6) 50-0. Smith scored three touchdowns in the win.

This Week: Lee County (7-0) will travel to Lillington (N.C.) Western Harnett (0-7).

• RB Markese Stepp— Indianapolis Cathedral

Last Week: Was held out due to an injury. Cathedral fell 38-10 to Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward (7-0).

This Week: Cathedral (3-5) will host Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove (4-4).

• TE George Takacs— Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast

Last Week: Gulf Coast fell 45-12 to Naples (Fla.) Barron Collier (3-2)

This Week: Gulf Coast (3-1) has a bye.

Class of 2019

• DT Jacob Lacey — Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren

Last Week: Lacey recorded four tackles in one half of play and sat out the second half due to injury. South Warren fell 31-17 to Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood (6-2).

This Week: South Warren (7-1) has a bye.

• QB Cade McNamara— Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch

Last Week: Had a bye. For the season, McNamara has connected on 106 of 192 throws for 1,703 yards with 23 touchdowns.

This Week: Damonte Ranch (6-0) will host Minden (Nev.) Douglas (2-5).
