It’s playoff season for high school football across the country and several of Notre Dame’s commits are trying to make a deep run.

Take a look at how each Irish pledge fared this past week on the field.

• DT Jayson Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Picked up a 42-19 win over Paramus (N.J.) Catholic (5-6) in the semifinals of the New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 playoffs.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (9-2) faces Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (9-2) in the Non-Public Group 4 championship game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. ... Bergen Catholic won the regular-season matchup 41-14.

• DE Justin Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Caught his first career touchdown pass (four yards) in a 42-19 victory versus Paramus (N.J.) Catholic (5-6) in the semifinals of the New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 playoffs.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (9-2) faces Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (9-2) in the Non-Public Group 4 championship game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. ... Bergen Catholic won the regular-season matchup 41-14.

• S Derrik Allen — Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter

Lassiter (6-4) has completed its season … Finished the year with 54 tackles, three stops for loss, three interceptions and seven passes broken up in just seven games … Also hauled in 14 receptions for 196 yards and compiled a 32.0-yard average on 14 punts returns.

• WR Kevin Austin — Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep

North Broward Prep (7-3) has completed its season … Finished the year with 35 receptions for 761 yards and 13 touchdowns.

• LB Matthew Bauer — Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep

Last Week: Had a bye … Has compiled 77 tackles, 17.5 stops for loss and eight sacks so far this season.

This Week: Cathedral Prep (11-0) faces Jefferson Hills (Pa.) Thomas Jefferson (11-1) in the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania Class 4A playoffs.

• OT John Dirksen — Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local

Last Week: Defeated Coldwater (Ohio) High (9-4) 33-0 in the regional final of the Ohio Division VI playoffs.

This Week: Marion Local (13-0) faces Findlay (Ohio) Liberty-Benton (12-1) in the semifinals of the Division VI playoffs.

• DT Ja’Mion Franklin— Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline

North Caroline (10-1) has completed its season.

• WR Micah Jones— Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township

Warren Township (8-4) has completed its season … Finished the year with 53 catches for 824 yards and 12 touchdowns.

• QB Phil Jurkovec — Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland

Last Week: Completed 16 of 23 passes for 276 yards with three touchdowns plus had seven carries for 103 yards and a score in a 42-7 victory versus Pittsburgh Central Catholic (10-3) that gave Pine-Richland the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League championship … For the season, has connected on 191 of 253 throws (75.5 percent) for 3,279 yards with 33 touchdowns and four interceptions … Also has 84 carries for 805 yards and 16 scores.

This Week: Pine-Richland (13-0) faces State College (Pa.) High (10-2) in the quarterfinals of the Pennsylvania Class 6A state playoffs.

• LB Jack Lamb — Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak

Great Oak (5-6) has completed its season.

• OT Cole Mabry — Brentwood (Tenn.) High

Brentwood (10-2) has completed its season.

• S Paul Moala — Mishawka (Ind.) Penn

Last Week: Cruised to a 34-7 win over Carmel (Ind.) High (8-5) in the semifinals of the Indiana Class 6A playoffs.

This Week: Penn (13-1) faces Indianapolis Ben Davis (13-0), the No. 12 team nationally per USA Today, for the Class 6A state title.

• LB Ovie Oghoufo — Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison

Last Week: Helped blank Riverview (Mich.) High (11-2) 21-0 in the semifinals of the Michigan Division III playoffs.

This Week: Harrison (11-3) faces Muskegon (Mich.) High (14-0) in the Division III championship game.

• WR Geordon Porter— Etiwanda (Calif.) High

Etiwanda (3-8) has completed its season.

• ROV Shayne Simon— Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Caught three passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in a 42-19 win over Paramus (N.J.) Catholic (5-6) in the semifinals of the New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 playoffs.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (9-2) faces Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (9-2) in the Non-Public Group 4 championship game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. ... Bergen Catholic won the regular-season matchup 41-14.

• RB Jahmir Smith — Sanford (N.C.) Lee County

Last Week: Fell 24-7 to Fayetteville (N.C.) Cape Fear (10-3) in the second round of the North Carolina Class 3AA playoffs.

This Week: Lee County (12-1) has completed its season.

• RB Markese Stepp— Indianapolis Cathedral

Last Week: Had 14 carries for 54 yards in a 42-13 loss to Columbus (Ind.) East (13-1) in the semifinals of the Indiana Class 5A playoffs.

This Week: Cathedral (7-6) has completed its season.

• TE George Takacs — Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast

Gulf Coast (4-3) has completed its season.

• CB Joseph Wilkins Jr. — North Fort Myers (Fla.) High

Last Week: Had a fumble recovery touchdown in a 7-6 loss to Fort Myers (Fla.) High (8-3) in the second round of the Florida Class 6A playoffs.

This Week: North Fort Myers (9-1) has completed its season.

Class of 2019

• DT Jacob Lacey— Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren

Last Week: Defeated Bowling Green (Ky.) High (10-3) 28-21 in the quarterfinals of the Kentucky Class 5A playoffs.

This Week: South Warren (11-2) faces Park Hills (Ky.) Covington Catholic (13-0) in the semifinals of the Class 5A playoffs.

• QB Cade McNamara— Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch

Last Week: Connected on 20 of 35 throws for 246 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 31-27 loss to Sparks (Nev.) Reed (10-2) in the quarterfinals of the Nevada Class 4A Northern Region playoffs … Finished the season 225-of-384 passing (58.6 percent) for 3,470 yards with 44 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

This Week: Damonte Ranch (11-1) has completed its season.
