Notre Dame is now down to 17 commitments in the class of 2018 following the de-commitment of three-star wide receiver Geordon Porter.
Porter, a three-star prospect from Etiwanda (Calif.) High, committed to the Irish on Nov. 1, but has opened things back up just over a month later.
The California talent took an official visit to South Bend on Sept. 9 for the Irish's matchup with Georgia, and chose Notre Dame over a final group that included Arizona State, Utah, UCLA and others.
At wide receiver, Notre Dame is now down to two commitments with Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep four-star Kevin Austin and Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township four-star Micah Jones.
