Ball State University is located in Muncie, Ind., home of 1973, 1975-77 Notre Dame All-American Luther Bradley, one of the greatest all-around defensive back in school history.

He starred at safety as a freshman for the 1973 national champs and did the same at cornerback for the 1977 national title winners. His 17 career interceptions are a school record and his 27 passes broken up are third. What other former Notre Dame All-American is from Muncie?

Answer: D. Duerson enrolled in 1979, a year after Bradley graduated, and went on to an All-America career himself before becoming a Pro Bowl performer with the Chicago Bears. He won a Super Bowl at Chicago during the 1985 season and later also played with the New York Giants.
