The Irish coaching staff continues to send out offers to junior prospects this week, with Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O’Dowd safety Jevon Holland being the latest member of the class to add Notre Dame to his list.

The Californian is the third player of the day to receive an offer from Notre Dame, following Oklahoma defensive back Patrick Fields and Louisiana wide receiver Lawrence Keys.

Holland also holds offers from UCLA, Utah, Arizona, California, Boise State, Louisville and Oregon State, among others.

The 6-1, 175-pound safety recently told Rivals analyst Adam Gorney that UCLA had emerged as his favorite following a recent visit, and Arizona, California, Utah and Boise State were high up as well.

Holland finished his junior season with 50 total tackles on defense and 1,084 all-purpose yards and 13 touchdowns. According to his Hudl, Holland runs a 4.5 40-yard dash.

It remains to be seen if the Notre Dame offer will change his recruitment at all and if a visit to South Bend will occur. Stay tuned to BlueandGold.com for the latest on Holland the rest of Notre Dame’s targets in the 2018 class.
