It's been an eventful week for Tommy Bush.

In the last seven days, the three-star receiver has landed 11 offers, from programs like Tennessee, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Oregon, Auburn, and LSU.

On Tuesday, Notre Dame joined the party.

The Clemens (Texas) Schertz receiver said he's been familiar with Notre Dame for a while now, and was excited to land the Irish offer.

"It's very huge, due to the big time TV schedule they play," Bush said. "Plus the private education is very huge."

"Just the fact that it's the Golden domers," Bush added. "Many great players come from that program."

Bush said he first started speaking with the Notre Dame staff about two months ago, and has become more and more intrigued with the school as he's learned about it.

"The tradition and educational institution," Bush said of what sticks out about Notre Dame. "I believe it's a great place to not only learn football, but life."

The Texas talent added that he's been impressed with how genuine the Irish coaching staff has seemed while they've been recruiting him.

"They're real people," Bush stated. "They really want to get to know me and my family and they were awesome."

Now that the offer has come, Bush said he's going to take a hard look at the Irish going forward.

"I'm very interested," Bush said. "Just that fact that Coach Kelly's system has been proven and he's a great coach. I just have to figure out how I fit."

Bush said that he's going to try his hardest to visit South Bend at some point, because he doesn't want to overlook an opportunity such as this one.

"I will just have to try and pack into my parents already busy schedule, but I believe it to be a must see campus," Bush said. "All the pictures I have viewed on the internet, plus the schools website, are great."

It will no doubt be a busy offseason for Bush. The talented receiver went from a virtual unknown to one of the country's hottest prospects in a matter of days.

Bush said his life has been a whirlwind as of late.

"It's been absolutely amazing and crazy and challenging," Bush said. "It's a brand new process. I used to come home, hit the homework then eat, then play video games until I hit the bed. Now I have a schedule of coaches to call by myself and as a family."
