2018 OFFICIAL VISITORS

The Skinny: Wilkins Jr. has been high on the Irish for a long time, and the trip to South Bend will be his first official visit. Though he plays both ways in high school, Notre Dame likes Wilkins at cornerback and both he and his coach believe that's his best position.

The main recruiters for Wilkins at Notre Dame are running backs coach Autry Denson and defensive backs coach Todd Lyght. Wilkins has built a strong relationship with both, and told BGI earlier this week that Notre Dame is his leader.

2019 VISITORS

There will be a long list of talented prospects from the class of 2019 in town this weekend.

The highest rated 2019 prospect slated to be in attendance is West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West defensive end Steven Faucheux. The Ohio talent is rated as the No. 10 strongside defensive end in the class of 2019 and No. 109 overall player in the nation.

Another Rivals250 prospect that will be in town is Georgetown (Ky.) Scott County offensive tackle Bryan Hudson.

Hudson, the No. 205 overall player in the class of 2019, holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and several others.

There will be three three-star prospects on hand Saturday afternoon, one of whom is committed elsewhere.

Katy (Texas) Taylor offensive tackle Andrew Coker, a Florida commit, will make his way to South Bend in hopes of landing an offer from the Irish.

Coker holds additional offers from Ole Miss and Indiana, and told BGI earlier this week that Notre Dame would definitely be in contention if an offer comes.

Flint (Mich.) Carman Ainsworth three-star defensive end Michael Fletcher will be in town as well. Fletcher holds offers from Michigan State, Pitt, Wisconsin and several others.

Another Michigan product that will be in South Bend is Southfield (Mich.) High safety Marcus Fuqua. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Fuqua holds offers from Syracuse, Temple, Western Michigan and others.
