Rivals has released a post-spring updated Rivals250, and there is a good bit of Notre Dame flavor on the list.

On Tuesday, four-star quarterback commit Phil Jurkovec and four-star safety commit Derrik Allen made the cut in the newly updated Rivals100.

Today, four-star running back commit Markese Stepp, four-star linebacker commit Bo Bauer and four-star wide receiver commit Micah Jones all checked in on the updated Rivals250.

Bauer came in at No. 129, Jones checked in at No. 170, and Stepp rounded out the group at No. 224.

Irish wide receiver commit Braden Lenzy fell out of the Rivals250, while offensive tackle commit Cole Mabry received a slight bump in his rating, moving from a 5.5 50 a 5.7 three-star.

FULL RIVALS250 RANKINGS

Several of Notre Dames' top targets made the list as well.

On defense, Notre Dame targets on the list include Cleveland Heights (Ohio) High defensive End Tyreke Smith (No.107), four-star Corvallis (Ore.) Crescent Valley athlete Talanoa Hufanga (No. 112) four-star Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep rover Shayne Simon (No. 138), four-star Ownings Mills (Md.) McDonogh defensive tackle P.J. Mustipher (No. 144), four-star Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley linebacker Channing Tindall (No.173), four-star Hampton (Ga.) Dutchtown safety Trey Dean (N0. 174) Baltimore Gilman School defensive end Thomas Booker (No. 208), Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Bo Calvert (No. 213), and Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy defensive end Jayson Oweh (No. 217)

The Irish are in great shape with Booker and Simon, and are working hard to get Smith back to campus over the summer.

Hufanga, Tindall and Dean have all discussed Notre Dame visits in the past, which will need to happen for the Irish to become serious contenders.

On offense, Irish targets on the list include four-star North Andover (Mass.) Brooks School tight end Patrick Freiermuth (No.119), Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep receiver Kevin Austin (No. 141), Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep offensive tackle Nick Petit-Frere (No. 171), Medford (Ore.) South Medford receiver Chase Cota (No. 194) Lindenhurst (N.Y.) Lindenhurst Senior tight end Jeremy Ruckert, and Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast tight end George Takacs.

All the targets on that list have visited campus over the last year, and the Irish are in great shape with Austin, Takacs and Petit-Frere.

Freiermuth picked up an offer from Notre Dame earlier this year but remains committed to Penn State, although the coaching staff is pushing for a return visit.
