They Said It
Rivals Mid-South recruiting analyst Jason Howell: "The thing that jumps out about Wallace is his speed. He is not the biggest guy, but he is that hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end kind of guy.
"He will be that rusher off the edge that is getting pressure on the quarterback on third downs. He is going to be there immediately and jumping in there to force their hand.
"Wallace had several big scholarships and was one of the top prospects in Louisiana. Any time you are selling South Bend to a kid in New Orleans with that kind of distance, you are going to face some issues. He is a smart kid and academics were important. They did a good job of selling that and the Notre Dame tradition."
Prep Football Report's Tom Lemming: "He's a sack master at outside linebacker. He's a consistent pass rusher. He's not real big, and when I saw him last January he was only 206 pounds. For now he has to play outside linebacker. He's just not big enough to start out at defensive end."
