Shepard ruled ineligible

It appears Tee Shepard has played his last down of high school football.
The four-star cornerback and Notre Dame commitment from Fresno, Calif., transferred from Central East High School to Washington Union for his senior season but has been ruled ineligible as a result of that decision.

Shepard, who plans to graduate a semester early and enroll at Notre Dame in January, confirmed the news in a text message.
"I can't play," Shepard said.
Had Shepard been allowed to play this season he would have done so alongside cousin and fellow Notre Dame commitment Deontay Greenberry, a four-star wide receiver.
Shepard was enrolled at Central East in the spring when he picked Notre Dame over scholarship offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Cal, Miami, UCLA, USC and Washington, among others.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect is the No. 63 prospect overall in the latest Rivals100.
