A big on has arrived.

During an official visit Saturday, Notre Dame landed a huge commitment from Rivals100 wide receiver Jordan Johnson of St. Louis De Smet Jesuit.

Johnson, the No. 59 overall player in the class of 2020, originally planned to announce his commitment on July 28, but moved that date up after a successful official visit this weekend.

Johnson is the first receiver to join the class of 2020 and the second Rivals100 prospect, joining quarterback Drew Pyne.

Johnson was a top overall target for the Irish, and Notre Dame recruited him for well over a year.

The Rivals100 prospect chose Notre Dame over offers from Texas, Ohio State, Missouri, Auburn and several others.

Johnson's commitment gives Pyne three talented pass catchers in the class of 2020, joining four-star tight ends Kevin Bauman and Michael Mayer
