It is official that Notre Dame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees will be keeping his post with the Fighting Irish, and BlueandGold.com and other outlets are reporting that Marcus Freeman will be elevated to head coach. We can report that several other coaches are sticking in South Bend, too.

Four-star linebacker Nolan Ziegler: “It’s so awesome to see such a great coach get a well deserving job. He will add on the tenacity of the team as a coach. I really believe it. He will help bring us a national championship.”
Four-star linebacker Niuafe Tuihalamaka: “He deserves the job, who wouldn’t want him to be the head coach? He’s already done so much for the recruits and present players.”
Four-star linebacker Joshua Burnham: "I think it's the best for the future of Notre Dame, and I can't wait to get working with him!"
Three-star punter Bryce McFerson: "I think they made the right decision to set us up for a national championship!"
Three-star defensive tackle Donovan Hinish: "I feel like a little kid on Christmas. I'm so happy right now."

Four-star linebacker Drayk Bowen: “I’m super excited. Coach Freeman was a huge factor in my recruitment, so the fact that he got the head job is incredible. Not only is it incredible for Notre Dame but also for him because this is one of his dreams. This is awesome.”
Four-star safety Adon Shuler: “Man I’m so excited for this. I can’t wait to get to Notre Dame and win a national championship.”
Four-star running back Sedrick Irvin Jr.: “I’m more than excited. I couldn’t imagine having to go anywhere else. They definitely made a great decision.”
