Notre Dame Staying In The Mix With Four-Star DB Derrick Davis
Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway outside linebacker/safety Derrick Davis added an offer from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Feb. 5, 2019 and visited campus a few weeks later for a junior day.
Notre Dame was considered a team to beat in his recruitment at that point, but the 6-foot, 193-pounder hasn't been to South Bend since. The Irish staff still sends Davis plenty of mail and does keep in touch.
His visit last year left a lasting impact and is why when Davis does announce a top ten in the near future, the Irish are expected to make the cut.
