Notre Dame dished out an offer to Metairie (La.) Rummel class of 2021 running back Logan Diggs March 5, shortly after Will Shipley — who was a big Irish target at the time — committed to Clemson.
The Notre Dame offer made an impact on Diggs’ recruitment, and over the past several weeks, the Irish staff has been on him hard.
“I feel like Notre Dame is pursuing me heavy and making me a priority, which is separating themselves from other schools,” Diggs said.
Diggs is also in close contact with Vanderbilt, Oklahoma State and LSU. The Tigers haven’t offered yet, but they may be close to doing so.
