Notre Dame Offers Rivals100 2018 DB B.J. Foster
Adding playmakers to the back end of the defense is one of new Notre Dame defensive coordinator's Mike Elko's goals on the recruiting trail.
The staff extended an offer to the No. 2 safety in the 2018 class today in Angleton (Texas0 four-star talent BJ Foster.
Rivals ranks Foster as the No. 22 player overall in the class and the No. 2 player in the state of Texas. He recently attended a Junior Day at TCU.
Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Stanford, Florida, Michigan, Texas A&M, Georgia, TCU and Penn State have also offered the talented defensive back. Despite being an athlete for his Angleton team, most programs are recruiting him as a safety.
Foster previously released a top five of Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan and TCU this past November. It is unclear if that list still stands.
Foster was selected to the All-USA Texas Football first-team defense by USA Today for his performance during his junior season.
Check back later for more on Foster.
