The acceleration of the recruiting calendar has coaching staffs across the country spending more and more time evaluating the rising junior class and developing bonds with the prospects and their families.
Notre Dame is no different. Filling up the 2019 class relatively early has put the Fighting Irish staff in position to get off to a fast start in 2020.
At this point last year, Notre Dame did not hold a commitment from the rising junior group, but the Irish had three Rivals250 commits before Independence Day with the current group of rising juniors.
With the changes in the recruiting world and the junior class becoming more of a focus, Blue & Gold Illustrated is rolling out 'Hot Boards' for the class and where things stand at this stage between the Irish and their top targets in 2020.
Today, we take a look at the defensive line. The Hot Board for quarterback and running back can be FOUND HERE while the wide receiver and tight ends piece is HERE, and the offensive line can be found HERE.
