A look at where Notre Dame's commitments and top targets are playing this week as their 2017 regular seasons inch closer to completion with several in playoff battles.
Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep (9-2) vs. Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (9-2) - Irish commits Jayson and Justin Ademilola and Shayne Simon will play for the New Jersey Non-Public Group Four State Championship at MetLife Stadium.
Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep (12-0) faces Reading (Pa.) Berks Catholic (13-0) - linebacker commit Bo Bauer competes in in the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Class 4A playoffs.
Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local (14-0) vs. Kirtland (Ohio) High (14-0) - Offensive tackle commit John Dirksen will competete for the Division VI state championship.
Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland (14-0) vs Lancaster (Pa.) Manheim Township (13-1) - QB commit Phil Jurkovec will compete in the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Class 6A state playoffs.
NOTRE DAME TARGETS
Milpitas (Calif.) High (11-0) v. Salinas (Calif.) High (10-2) - CB target Tariq Bracy will go for a state championship.
Medford (Ore.) South Medford (12-1) vs. Clackamas (Ore.) High (13-0) - Wide receiver target Chase Cota goes for a state championship.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei (12-0) vs. Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco - Irish wide receiver target Amon-Ra St. Brown and linebacker target Solomon Tuliaupupu compete for a state title against a loaded St. John Bosco team.
