Plenty of Notre Dame’s commitments and top targets continued their 2017 prep seasons last week. Below you will find a recap of how each commit and top target performed in their respective games.

Class of 2018

• DT Jayson Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Had a bye.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) is at West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep (0-2).

• DE Justin Ademilola — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Had a bye.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) is at West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep (0-2).

• S Derrik Allen — Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter

Last Week: Recorded five-plus tackles and a punt return of about 40 yards in a 37-14 victory over Marietta (Ga.) High (3-1).

This Week: Lassiter (4-0) hosts Cumming (Ga.) South Forsyth (4-0).

• WR Kevin Austin — Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep

Last Week: Did not play due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: North Broward (2-0) hosts West Palm Beach (Fla) King’s Academy (2-1).

• LB Matthew Bauer — Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep

Last Week: Cathedral Prep fell behind 14-7 in the first quarter, but was able to eventually pull away for a 62-28 win over Cleveland Benedictine (3-1).

This Week: Cathedral Prep (4-0) hosts Edinboro (Pa.) General McLane (1-3).

• OT John Dirksen — Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local

Last Week: Registered a 21-7 win over Minster (Ohio) High (3-1).

This Week: Marion Local (4-0) is at Versailles (Ohio) High (1-3).

• DT Ja’Mion Franklin — Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline

Last Week: Recovered a fumble, per The Times-Record, in a 42-0 win over Cambridge (Md.) Cambridge-South Dorchester (0-3).

This Week: North Caroline (3-0) is at Centreville (Md.) Queen Anne’s County (2-1).

• WR Micah Jones — Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township

Last Week: Caught nine passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns, per The Daily Herald, in a 36-7 win over Lake Forest (Ill.) High (2-2).

This Week: Warren Township (3-1) hosts Lake Zurich (Ill.) High (4-0).

• QB Phil Jurkovec — Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland

Last Week: Completed 16 of 25 passes for 176 yards with a touchdown pass, per The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, in a 43-6 victory over Pittsburgh Penn Hills (3-1) … Also had 41 yards and a score on the ground.

This Week: Pine-Richland (4-0) is at Bethel Park (Pa.) High (3-0).

• LB Jack Lamb — Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak

Last Week: Remains sidelined by a knee injury, but Great Oak notched a 21-18 win over Phelan (Calif.) Serrano (0-4).

This Week: Great Oak (2-1) will host Upland (Calif) High (4-0).

• OT Cole Mabry — Brentwood (Tenn.) High

Last Week: Lost 31-23 to crosstown rival Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood (4-1).

This Week: Brentwood (4-1) will host Nolensville (Tenn.) High (1-4).

• LB Ovie Oghoufo — Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison

Last Week: Took the opening kick 90 yards for a touchdown to spark Harrison to a 49-7 win over Birmingham (Mich.) Seaholm (1-3) … Made several tackles on defense and caught a touchdown pass on offense.

This Week: Harrison (3-1) is at Beverly Hills (Mich.) Groves (3-1).

• ROV Shayne Simon — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep

Last Week: Had a bye.

This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (1-1) is at West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep (0-2).

• RB Jahmir Smith— Sanford (N.C.) Lee County

Last Week: Returned to action after missing last week and put on a show, rushing for 205 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-0 victory over Morehead City (N.C.) West Carteret (4-1).

This Week: Lee County (5-0) is off this week and will return to action Sept. 29 against Burlington (N.C.) Cummings.

• RB Markese Stepp — Indianapolis Cathedral

Last Week: Sat out with an injury during Cathedral’s 31-7 loss to Cincinnati St. Xavier (4-0).

This Week: Cathedral (1-4) hosts Jeffersonville (Ind.) High (2-3).

• TE George Takacs — Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast

Last Week: Did not play due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: Gulf Coast (2-0) hosts Estero (Fla.) High (1-0).

Class of 2019

• DT Jacob Lacey — Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren

Last Week: Posted a 49-0 win over Leitchfield (Ky.) Grayson County (1-4) … South Warren is allowing just 8.8 points allowed per game.

This Week: South Warren (5-0) hosts Glasgow (Ky.) Barren County (0-5).

• QB Cade McNamara — Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch

Last Week: Completed 23 of 42 passes for 365 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in 34-3 win over Sparks (Nev.) Spanish Springs (2-2).

This Week: Damonte Ranch (4-0) hosts Reno (Nev.) McQueen (2-1).

• DE Thomas Booker — Baltimore Gilman

Last Week: Notched a 9-6 victory over Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal (1-1).

This Week: Gilman (1-3) hosts Baltimore Mount St. Joseph (3-1).

• CB Tariq Bracy — Milpitas (Calif.) High

Last Week: Had 17 rushes for 69 yards and three receptions for 67 yards in a 27-0 win over Salinas (Calif.) High (1-2).

This Week: Milpitas (4-0) faces Los Altos (Calif.) High (1-2) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

• CB Donte Burton — Loganville (Ga.) High

Last Week: Fell 17-14 to Winder (Ga.) Winder-Barrow (4-0).

This Week: Loganville (0-4) is at Walnut Grove (Ga.) High (1-3).

• CB Kalon Gervin — Detroit Cass Tech

Last Week: Picked up a 53-6 victory versus Detroit Ford (2-1).

This Week: Cass Tech (2-1) hosts Detroit Northwestern (0-4).

• CB Houston Griffith — Brandenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Last Week: Did not play due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: IMG (2-0 and ranked No. 2 in the country by USA Today) hosts No. 5-ranked Miami Central (3-0).

• S Julius Irvin — Anaheim (Calif.) Servite

Last Week: Made three tackles and had one reception for 39 yards in a 47-14 win over Villa Park (Calif.) High (2-1).

This Week: Servite (4-0) is at Garfield (Calif.) High (1-3).

• WR Lawrence Keys — New Orleans McDonogh 35

Last Week: Recorded a 29-0 victory over Reserve (La.) East St. John (2-2).

This Week: McDonogh 35 (3-1) hosts Harvey (La.) Cox (2-3).

• S D’Angelo McKenzie — San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian

Last Week: Valley Christian had a bye.

This Week: Valley Christian (2-1) hosts Mountain View (Calif.) Saint Francis (2-1).

• S Paul Moala — Mishawaka (Ind.) Penn

Last Week: Defeated South Bend (Ind.) Adams (0-4) 34-0.

This Week: Penn (4-1) is at South Bend (Ind.) St. Joseph (2-3).

• OG Chris Murray — Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Last Week: Dominated in a 62-14 win over Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic (1-2).

This Week: Mater Dei (4-0), which is ranked No. 1 nationally by USA Today, faces Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary’s (3-1) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

• OT Nick Petit-Frere — Tampa Berkeley Prep

Last Week: Did not play due to Hurricane Irma.

This Week: Berkeley Prep (1-1) was at Lakeland (Fla.) Lakeland Christian (1-0) on Monday, Sept. 18.

• WR Geordon Porter — Etiwanda (Calif.) High

Last Week: Had four receptions for 48 yards in a 31-14 loss to Hesperia (Calif.) Oak Hills (2-2).

This Week: Etiwanda (3-1) hosts Corona (Calif.) Santiago (3-1).

• OG Jamaree Salyer — Atlanta Pace Academy

Last Week: Posted a 59-3 blowout of Stone Mountain (Ga.) High (1-3).

This Week: Pace (1-3) is at Stone Mountain (Ga.) Redan (1-3).

• OG Sam Taimani — Salt Lake City East

Last Week: Made three stops in a 57-13 victory versus Saratoga Springs (Utah) Westlake (0-5).

This Week: East (4-1) hosts West Herriman (Utah) Herriman (1-4).

• TE Tommy Tremble — Norcross (Ga.) Wesleyan

Will miss the remainder of the 2017 season with an injury.

• CB Joe Wilkins Jr. — North Fort Myers (Fla.) High

Last Week: Did not play due to Hurricane Irma.
