• S Derrik Allen — Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter
Last Week: His season came to end two weeks ago when he suffered a broken hand … Finished the year with 54 tackles, three stops for loss, three interceptions and seven passes broken up in just seven games … Also hauled in 14 receptions for 196 yards and compiled a 32.0-yard average on 14 punts returns.
This Week: Lassiter (6-3) is at Woodstock (Ga.) Otewah (4-5).
• WR Kevin Austin — Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep
Last Week: Recorded six receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-20 win over Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Pine Crest (5-5) … Also had five rushes for 52 yards.
This Week: North Broward (6-3) hosts Miami Gulliver Prep (5-2).
• LB Matthew Bauer — Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep
Last Week: Posted a 31-20 victory over Buffalo (N.Y.) Canisius (6-3).
This Week: Cathedral Prep (10-0) is at Pittsburgh University Prep (4-6) in a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association subregional matchup.
• OT John Dirksen — Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local
Last Week: Notched a 39-0 victory over Rockford (Ohio) Parkway (1-9).
This Week: Marion Local (10-0) hosts Fort Recovery (Ohio) High (6-4) in the first round of the Ohio Division VI playoffs.
• DT Ja’Mion Franklin — Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline
Last Week: Part of a defense that allowed only 27 rushing yards, per MaxPreps, in a 35-14 win over Stevensville (Md.) Kent Island (7-2).
This Week: North Caroline (9-0) hosts Federalsburg (Md.) Colonel Richardson (6-3).
• WR Micah Jones — Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township
Last Week: Caught three passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in a 28-14 win over Bolingbrook (Ill.) High (7-3) in the first round of the Class 8A Illinois High School Association playoffs.
This Week: Warren Township (7-3) faces Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South (10-1) in the second round of the Class 8A IHSA playoffs.
• QB Phil Jurkovec — Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland
Last Week: Completed 6 of 14 passes for 52 yards in a 48-28 win over Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny (7-3) … Added 187 yards and two touchdowns on 16 rushing attempts … For the season, has completed 144 of 192 passes (75.0 percent) for 2,336 yards with 21 touchdowns and four interceptions … Also has 67 carries for 583 yards and 14 scores.
This Week: Pine-Richland (10-0) hosts North Huntingdon (Pa.) Norwin (5-5).
• LB Jack Lamb — Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak
Last Week: Fell 49-21 to Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley (7-2).
This Week: Great Oak (4-5) hosts Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta (4-5).
• OT Cole Mabry — Brentwood (Tenn.) High
Last Week: Closed out the regular season with a 49-21 win over Franklin (Tenn.) Centennial (4-6).
This Week: Brentwood (9-1) hosts Nashville (Tenn.) McGavock (5-5) in the first round of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Division I Class 6A playoffs.
• S Paul Moala — Mishawka (Ind.) Penn
Last Week: Helped Penn avenge its only loss of the season by catching a 36-yard touchdown pass in a 13-0 victory over Valparaiso (Ind.) High (8-2) in the section 2 semifinals of the Class 6A Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) playoffs.
This Week: Penn (9-1) will host Warsaw (Ind.) High (6-4) in the sectional championship of the Class 6A IHSAA playoffs.
• LB Ovie Oghoufo — Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison
Last Week: Picked up a 45-14 win over Fitzgerald (Mich.) High (7-3) in a pre-district matchup in the Division III Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) playoffs.
This Week: Harrison (7-3) faces Warren (Mich.) Woods-Tower (8-2) in the district finals of the Division III MHSAA playoffs.
• ROV Shayne Simon — Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep
Last Week: Notched a 47-20 win over Jersey City (N.J.) Lincoln (2-6).
This Week: St. Peter’s Prep (6-2) is at Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep (2-6).
• RB Jahmir Smith — Sanford (N.C.) Lee County
Last Week: Won 44-7 over Erwin (N.C.) Triton (5-5).
This Week: Lee County (10-0) hosts Sanford (N.C.) Southern Lee (5-5).
• RB Markese Stepp — Indianapolis Cathedral
Last Week: Had 12 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-23 win over Indianapolis Roncalli in the first round of the Indiana class 5A IHSAA playoffs
This Week: Cathedral ( 5-5) faces Indianapolis Decatur Central (10-1) in the second round of the 5A IHSAA playoffs.
• TE George Takacs — Naples (Fla.) Gulf Coast
Last Week: Had four catches for 30 yards and a touchdown in a 30-20 loss to Fort Myers (Fla.) South Fort Myers (5-3).
This Week: Gulf Coast (3-3) hosts Naples (Fla.) Golden Gate (2-5).
Class of 2019
• DT Jacob Lacey — Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren
Last Week: Snapped a two-game losing streak with a 21-16 win over Owensboro (Ky.) Catholic (6-4).
This Week: South Warren (8-2) hosts Mayfield (Ky.) Graves County (6-4) in the first round of the 5A Kentucky High School Athletic Association playoffs.
• QB Cade McNamara — Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch
Last Week: Completed 25 of 33 passes for 358 yards with three scores in a 42-21 win over Reno (Nev.) Bishop Manogue (4-3).
