The summer was pretty quiet for Nolan Rucci.
The elite class of 2021 offensive tackle prospect from Pennsylvania didn't take any visits, and while he had some communication with college coaches, it wasn't too crazy of a a time for him.
However, September 1 was busy for the nation's No. 30 prospect and No. 5 offensive tackle. It was the first day that college coaches could directly reach out to 2021 prospects, and Rucci heard from all 18 of the schools that have offered him, as well as Florida, Louisville, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
