Jarron Jones went undrafted, but it didn't take long for the former Notre Dame defensive tackle to find an NFL home.
Jones is signing as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants, according to Josh Norris of Rotoworld.com.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Jones had 45 tackles, two sacks and a team-high 11 tackles for loss as a fifth-year senior. But various "character flags" surrounded Jones throughout the draft process, which led to him being undrafted.
The Irish had two former players selected in the seven-round draft: quarterback DeShone Kizer went in the second round to the Cleveland Browns and defensive lineman Isaac Rochell was taken in the seventh round by the Los Angeles Chargers.
With the Giants, Jones is reunited with former Irish defensive end Romeo Okwara, who completed his rookie season in 2016.
