Georgia Tech filled up one of the few remaining spots for the 2017-18 season with Lehigh graduate transfer Brandon Alston. Alston announced his commitment to transfer to Georgia Tech on Tuesday.

The talented guard will have two years of eligibility remaining and can play immediately for the Jackets bolstering the backcourt with some sharp shooting to go with returning slashing guard Josh Okogie and Tadric Jackson. Alston shot 35.5-percent from three during his two years playing at Lehigh and will give Tech some bench scoring and depth. He is six-foot-five and 200 pounds.
