Florida WR Adds Notre Dame Offer

Last week, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage wide receiver Anthony Schwartz told BGI that he had been talking to the Notre Dame coaching staff, and was waiting to hear more.

Tuesday night, the call came and Schwartz received an offer from the coaching staff.

With the offer, Notre joins several programs in the race to land the three-star, including Auburn. Florida, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi State, Oregon, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, Wisconsin and others.

Schwartz, who stands at 6-foot-0 and weighs in at 175 pounds, is a speedy wide receiver.

As a sophomore, Schwartz recorded a 10.26-second time in the 100-meter dash, which ranked third in the nation at the time, and a 20.76 mark in the 200, good for sixth. Those accomplishments led him to be named the Orlando Sentinel's All-Broward Track Athlete of the Year.

Schwartz is the 18th receiver to be offered by Notre Dame in the 2018 cycle.
