Today is June 1, which means the NCAA’s 15-month long dead period due to the coronavirus pandemic is officially over. It’s the time high school prospects and college coaches alike have been waiting for, and with face-to-face recruiting visits back on, it’s about to get hectic.
Here are five bold predictions for what will happen in the world of Notre Dame football recruiting this summer.
1. Notre Dame Will Land One Of Its Big 3 Running Back Targets
Irish running backs coach Lance Taylor has been working hard in the 2022 cycle, and everything he’s been doing on the trail has led up to this point. He landed a commitment back in February from Denton (Texas) High’s Jadarian Price, who will be on campus at the end of the month. But Taylor wants two running backs in this class, and the “Big 3” targets are still on the board and will be on campus later this month.
