A March offer from Notre Dame caught 2023 four-star Detroit King quarterback Dante Moore’s attention.
In the months since, talks with Notre Dame coaches over the phone and his own research heightened his interest to the point of wanting to visit. Moore made that trip to South Bend on Sunday with his father and brother and met his primary recruiter, Irish offensive coordinator Tommy Rees.
The first impression was a good one.
“Coach Rees is great. He toured us around and is a great driver on the golf carts,” Moore said with a laugh. “Overall, he knows the game of football and shows lots of care in what he does. I really appreciate it and it shows. But he’s very cool to hang around, and he always has jokes.”
Moore’s trip also included a meeting with head coach Brian Kelly.
