Notre Dame had a big recruiting weekend on April 5-7, and Fighting Irish pledge Aidan Keanaaina from Brighton (Colo.) Mullen H.S. was in South Bend for his official visit.
"Oh man, it was amazing. I loved it," Keanaaina said. "I had a great time up there. I ate a lot of food and had a lot of fun. I got to see a practice, which I was dying to see and how they run things. I really loved it."
Keanaaina announced his commitment to Notre Dame in February, choosing the Irish over Florida and Ohio State, who were his other two finalists, as well as 20 other schools. His time in South Bend this weekend helped solidify his commitment even more.
"The coaches asked, 'What was one thing that you really liked about the visit?' I told them that the overall trip reminded me why I chose Notre Dame and why I love the school so much," the state of Colorado's No. 2 recruit said.
