Here is a breakdown of how the future Fighting Irish players fared over the weekend.
The Skinny: Completed 14 of 16 passes — including a school-record 14 straight — for 195 yards with two touchdowns, plus posted four carries for 16 yards, in Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic’s (1-0) 42-7 win against Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban (1-1).

The Skinny: Lawrenceburg (Ind.) High (1-1) fell 34-6 against St. Leon (Ind.) East Central (2-0) Aug. 20, but bounced back with a 29-12 win over Cleves (Ohio) Taylor (1-1) Aug. 27.

The Skinny: Zionsville (Ind.) High (2-0) knocked off Indianapolis Pike (0-2) 28-10 Aug. 20 and defeated Lebanon (Ind.) High 30-2 Aug. 27 ... Has paved the way for Zionsville to rush for 351 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 carries through two games.
