Notre Dame is looking to add one of the nation’s elite hauls of offensive players, and the Irish staff took a big step closer to meeting that objective with the commitment of St. Louis (Mo.) De Smet four-star receiver Jordan Johnson.
Johnson is a Top 100 caliber wide receiver that has been on Notre Dame’s radar for well over a year. Quarterbacks coach Tommy Rees began the recruitment with Johnson, and position coach DelVaughn Alexander picked it up. Johnson who was offered by Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Florida, Auburn, Missouri and Tennessee among many others.
