Notre Dame has picked up a second cornerback commitment in the class of 2018.

Milpitas (Calif.) High three-star cornerback Tariq Bracy flirted with staying on the West Coast for a while, but ultimately went with the Irish and pulled the trigger on a commitment to Notre Dame.

Bracy took an official visit to South Bend for the USC game on Oct. 21, and publicly declared Notre Dame his leader following the trip.

Bracy gives Notre Dame its second cornerback commitment in the class of 2018, joining North Fort Myers (Fla.) High three-star prospect Joseph Wilkins Jr.

Overall, Bracy is the 18th commitment in the class of 2018 for Notre Dame, and the second from California along with four-star linebacker Jack Lamb.

With Bracy now in the fold, Notre Dame will likely look to add at least two more defensive backs to the class, and the remaining targets are Everett (Wash.) Archbishop Murphy four-star Kyler Gordon, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star Houston Griffith, Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson four-star Noah Boykin and Anaheim (Calif.) Servite four-star Julius Irvin.

Rivals ranks Bracy as the No. 39 athlete in the class of 2018 and No. 7 athlete in the state of California.
