Basketball Practice Facilities Around The ACC

Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey expressed some displeasure on Wednesday regarding the lack of progress towards a dedicated practice facility (for those comments in full, go here.) So as the Irish battle with top ACC schools for four-star recruits like Charlottesville (Va.) St. Anne's-Belfield forward Javin DeLaurier, here's a look at some of the practice facilities from around the conference.
Duke

Duke practices in the Michael W. Krzyzewski Center, which functions as a student-athlete academic center in addition to the dedicated basketball facilities. The cost was an estimated $15 million for the three-story, 56,000 square foot building.
NC State
The Wolfpack have the Dail Basketball Complex, which holds practice courts, a locker room, computer lab, study area and lounge among other features like coaching offices. It underwent a renovation in 2011 (link).
Miami
Opened in 2009 at 29,000 square feet, the Fieldhouse is located right next to the BankUnited Center and is available for players 24 hours a day.
Virginia Tech
The $21 million Hahn Hurst Practice Center opened in 2009, and hosts both men's and women's basketball teams. The floor of the court is very similar to the Cassell Coliseum floor, so the teams practice on a floor that looks similar to game day. The center features a patio in the back that overlooks the football stadium, and the staffs will sometimes tailgate there with top recruits to showcase the atmosphere.
Louisville
The Yum! Center ran a similar cost as Duke's facility, running at an estimated $15 million for the more than 60,000-square foot facility. It also hosts offices for women's volleyball and women's lacrosse.
Syracuse
Named after former Syracuse standout Carmelo Anthony, who in his only Syracuse season led the Orange to the 2003 national championship, the 54,000 square foot Carmelo Anthony Center was opened in 2009. It hosts both men's and women's basketball teams, and the courts are exclusively for their use, open 24 hours a day with a card access. Anthony made a $3 million donation for the $19 million dollar building.
