Notre Dame has landed a third offensive lineman in the class of 2018.

Little Rock (Ark.) Pulaski Academy three-star offensive tackle Luke Jones took an official visit to South Bend during the weekend of the Echoes Awards end-of-season banquet Dec. 8-10, and flipped his commitment from Arkansas to the Irish Dec. 27.

Jones, the No. 4 player in Arkansas, committed to the Razorbacks June 22, but took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame Oct. 21 and watched the Fighting Irish roll to a 49-14 victory over USC.

Notre Dame then offered Jones a scholarship and sent offensive line coach Harry Hiestand to Little Rock for a visit.

Jones gives the Irish 22 players in their 2018 class (the other 21 all inked their National Letters of Intent during the early signing period), and their third offensive tackle to go along with Brentwood (Tenn.) High product Cole Mabry and Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local standout John Dirksen.

After his in-home visit with Hiestand, Jones contacted Mabry on Twitter to express his interest in the Irish and talk about his visit with Hiestand.

Prior to committing to Arkansas, Jones held offers from Arizona State, Missouri, Oregon, Virginia and several others.

With three offensive linemen now in the fold, the Irish coaching staff will now turn its full attention to landing a signature from four-star Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep offensive tackle Nick Petit-Frere.
