Notre Dame has added another piece to its class of 2021.

On Wednesday, the Irish received a commitment from 2021 offensive guard Greg Crippen of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound Crippen visited Notre Dame last week, picked up an offer from the Irish and said he was 'speechless' after leaving campus.

“I was speechless,” Crippen told Blue & Gold Illustrated. “The offer was huge for me. There’s not much better of a school as an offensive lineman”

Crippen is the second commitment in the class of 2021 for Notre Dame, joining San Diego Bishops quarterback Tyler Buchner, who committed to the Irish on March 8.

With the decision, Crippen chooses the Irish over additional offers from Alabama, Michigan, Boston College, Pitt, Purdue, Syracuse and Duke.

Before transferring to IMG, Crippen previously attended Milton (Mass.) Milton Academy.
