2019 4-star DB Lewis Cine Lands Notre Dame Offer

According to his Twitter, Notre Dame has extended an offer to 2019 four-star safety Lewis Cine of Everett (Mass.) High.

The 6-3, 175-pounder also holds offers from Florida, Louisville, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Boston College, Rutgers and Syracuse, among others. All 15 of his offers to date have come since April 28.

Cine is the first player from Massachusetts to land an offer from the Irish in the 2019 class. The rising junior is the 5th player designated as a safety to add Notre Dame to his offer list.

Cine was recently listed by Rivals national analyst Adam Friedman as one of the five summer surprises in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Each year there are a handful of major recruits from New England that have a big impact on the national recruiting landscape," Friedman stated. "Cine looks like he will be the leader of the 2019 prospects from the area. His recruitment has exploded over the last few weeks, adding offers from schools like Oklahoma and Tennessee to his growing list that already included Florida, Michigan, Louisville and others.

"Penn State, Ohio State and Florida State just hosted Cine within the last couple weeks, and more offers are surely coming for the hard-hitting safety."
