10 Things To Know: All-American CB Devin Moore Picks Notre Dame
Notre Dame’s 18th commitment of the 2022 class is in, with Naples (Fla.) cornerback Devin Moore pledging to the Fighting Irish.
Here is a breakdown of what the new addition means for the Irish.
1. I made the trek down to Naples (Fla.) High to see Moore in person during one of his spring practices in May, and he did not disappoint. In fact, the first text message I sent after leaving was to Rivals’ national recruiting director Adam Gorney, telling him that Moore deserved to be bumped from a high three-star to a low four-star.
Moore, who did get that bump, was fantastic in my viewing. His listed size of 6-2, 180 pounds is legit, although I believe he’s closer to 6-3, and I was impressed with his overall athleticism. He is not a stiff corner who will move over to safety because he can’t cover on an island. He can play cornerback but of course has the versatility to play elsewhere if need be.
