Two visits were enough for Bo Wallace to realize Notre Dame was a recruiting end game.

Wallace, a three-star pass rusher from River Ridge, La., returned to South Bend over the weekend for an official visit, following up on a summer trek to campus. Before departing, Wallace gave the Irish a verbal commitment.
“I guess it’s a perfect time to tell everyone that I’m committed to the University of Notre Dame,” Wallace announced via Twitter.
Wallace chose Notre Dame over scholarship offers from Arizona State, Louisiana Tech, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Tulane, UCF and UCLA.
Baylor and TCU had also expressed interest.
Notre Dame had moved into a strong position for the 6-foot-4, 207-pound prospect after the summer visit, coveting his ability to harass opposing quarterbacks.
The university as a whole impressed Wallace during the June trip.
“I liked it,” Wallace told Irish Illustrated over the summer. “My parents were impressed and so was I. The key thing for them was life after football. The NFL stands for ‘Not For Long,’ so you have to have something after football.”
Wallace is commitment No. 19 for Notre Dame in the Class of 2015 and is the second from Louisiana, joining four-star offensive tackle Jerry Tillery.
