Three-star 2018 Georgia OL John Harris Excited for Notre Dame Visit

John Harris, a three-star 2018 offensive lineman from Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek knows that the opportunity to visit Notre Dame is a special one.

Harris will attend Notre Dame’s game against Virginia Tech this weekend, and the three-star said he’s looking forward to it.

“I'm really excited because the history of the background, and overall history of Notre Dame,” Harris said.

Harris said getting to visit Notre Dame is a unique opportunity for a young football player like himself.

“It's really cool because not a lot of people have the opportunity to go to a game,” Harris said, adding that it will also give him a chance to visit the location of one his favorite films. “It also reminds me of the movie Rudy.”

As just a junior, the 6-foot-4, 275 pound Harris already holds some impressive offers, including North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

He’s got his eye on Notre Dame though.

“I think Notre Dame has just a certain type of cool to them that some other schools don't,” Harris stated. “The school part of Notre Dame is really, really good.”

Even before visiting, Harris said he understands the worth of a Notre Dame education.

“It's extremely valuable,” Harris explained. “It's not making a four year decision, it’s making a 40 year decision.”
