"The offense at Notre Dame is always good and they always seem to be able to spread the ball around," Stovall said when asked about his interest in the Irish.
"The coaches said they wanted to get me up there as soon as they could, so we just set it up."
Stovall said he has no other set visit dates, but he plans to also see California at some point during the season and then make a decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
The 5-8, 180-pound all purpose back is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 140 prospect in the country and the No. 26 prospect in the state of California. He posted a Nike Football Rating of 116.19 at The Opening in July, after running a 4.59 in the 40-yard dash and recording a 39.4-inch vertical jump.
