They Said It
Rivals.com Midwest recruiting analyst Josh Helmholdt: "He's definitely a guy that would benefit from a redshirt not just because he's coming off the injury, but also because physically I would like to see him transform his body into that of a college offensive lineman.
"He could play tackle and he could play guard, but it seems like Notre Dame sees him as a guard and that's a good move for him. He doesn't have the elite feet that you want at the tackle position. He's got good feet - he doesn't have bad feet - but he's more of a well-rounded lineman. He can do a lot of things for your team, but you don't want to put him in a positions where it would not play to his strong suit.
"He's not a left tackle candidate, but I think he could play right tackle if needed, and he could definitely play the offensive guard position."
Prep Football Report's Tom Lemming: "I gave him our MVP in the Chicago area at our banquet in Soldier Field. When you watch Trevor, he'll knock the snot out of you. He is aggressive to the whistle and sometimes beyond.
"Great feet and a leader. He kind of reminds me of Chris Watt - an aggressive, tough kid. He's not real big. His only drawback is 6-3, 270, but with his frame he can play at 300 in a couple of years. He can benefit from a redshirt year to gain more weight."
