They Said It
Rivals Mid-South recruiting analyst Jason Howell: "Guyton is a big-framed receiver who is not afraid to get physical. He has a smooth stride on the field and is consistently able to get separation. Most importantly are his hands. He was the most reliable big-play target for a strong Allen offense.
"Guyton comes from a great program and gives Notre Dame an in at a strong program that produces a lot of talent year in, year out. You could say the same with Jerry Tillery at Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian and Bo Wallace at River Ridge (La.) John Curtis. Those three schools are really huge programs.
"Guyton was the leading receiver for an explosive Allen offense and is more athletic than he is given credit for. He can do a lot of things with the ball in his hands."
Prep Football Report's Tom Lemming: "He's a good, steady player on both sides of the ball, but he was not as good as about three or four other players on his team. I've been to his high school in Allen, Texas, twice. As a sophomore, he was playing defense"
