According to Football Scoop, Notre Dame has its new receivers coach.

DelVaughn Alexander, the tight ends coach at Arizona State, is reportedly coming to Notre Dame to become the receivers coach for the Irish.

He replaces Mike Denbrock, who left to become the offensive coordinator at Cincinnati.

Prior to being the tight ends coach in 2016, Alexander was the receivers coach for the Sun Devils from 2012-15. He worked with new Notre Dame offensive coordinator Chip Long during that time.

From 2007-11, Alexander was the receivers coach at Wisconsin.

The 45-year-old Alexander is a Los Angeles native who played football at Southern Cal.
