The first stop of the day was at Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep to meet with four-star Rivals250 wide receiver Kevin Austin, a top Irish target.

In a video interview, Austin talks about how excited he is to see Notre Dame April 22 and what he likes about the Irish.

Check out the full interview in the video below.

Things of have blowing up in the recruitment game for Austin lately. Offers are coming in daily, and he’ll head to Oregon this summer to compete in The Opening national event. The four-star said he believes playing in South Florida has prepared him for any challenges that might come his way. You can read about that HERE.

Here’s a quick quote from North Broward Prep head coach Rex Nottage on Austin:

“Anything you can possibly compete at, he wants to compete at,” Nottage said. “In addition to that, he’s mature. His character stands alone. He might be a four-star, but his character makes him a six-star.”

The second stop of the day was Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School and a visit with 2019 running back Kenny McIntosh.

McIntosh will visit South Bend for the Blue-Gold Game April 22 as well, and said he’s looking forward to finally seeing Notre Dame for the first time.

Check out the full interview in the video below.

McIntosh, also known as “The Blueprint,” ran for more than 1,000 yards during his sophomore season, and said he hopes to double that as a junior. You can read about that HERE.

A quick quote from University School coach Daniel Luque:

“This is Kenny’s football team,” Luque said. “Most people won’t say that about a kid who going into his junior year, but this is Kenny’s team.”
