Notre Dame star left guard Quenton Nelson posted on Instagram on Sunday afternoon that he will return for his senior season.

"Excited for this team to grow every day this offseason by putting in nothing but hard work and grinding together," Nelson said in the post. "When we reach our full potential, look out. I'm right behind you Coach."

Monday Jan. 16 is the deadline for players to declare for the NFL Draft.

Nelson was among the four Notre Dame players who asked for feedback from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.

The 6-foot-5, 325-pound Nelson has started 23 games in his Notre Dame career. With Nelson back, as well as fifth-year senior left tackle Mike McGlinchey, the Irish offensive line figures to be a strength.
