On Friday, Braden Norris entered the transfer portal. The 6-foot, 180-pounder from Hilliard (Ohio) Bradley played his true freshman season for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies but is now back on the market.

Right away, Butler, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Wright State got in touch with Norris, who averaged 8.4 points and 5.2 assists per game in 33 games (30 starts).

Fighting Irish assistant coach Ryan Ayers got in touch with Norris' dad, Brett Norris, a long time prep coach in the midwest, as soon as Braden was in the transfer portal. Ayers then got in touch with the younger Norris, and asked if he would come up on campus on Sunday for an unofficial visit.

And Norris made the trip to South Bend.
