Notre Dame Unveils 2016 Shamrock Series Uniforms

Notre Dame unveiled its uniforms on Twitter on Thursday evening for the Shamrock Series football game this season.

Notre Dame will wear the uniforms for the Nov. 12 game against Army. The game will be a neutral site contest, played at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The first Shamrock Series game was played in 2009 in San Antonio, Texas. Notre Dame has won the game every year with the latest being a victory over Boston College last year at Fenway Park in Boston.

These uniforms are the third designed by Under Armour. The Irish did not wear special uniforms for the 2009 Shamrock Series game against Washington State.

The series will not be played in 2017 as Notre Dame unveils its completed Campus Crossroads stadium project.
