Notre Dame Trivia: Duke

Notre Dame’s only other trip to Duke came in the 1961 finale, a 37-13 Irish defeat. Which is the lone ACC school since the 20th century — not including 21st century additions Boston College, Miami, Pitt and Louisville — that has defeated Notre Dame twice at home, which Duke is now attempting to do?

A. Georgia Tech

B. Florida State

C. Clemson

D. North Carolina

Answer: D. The Tar Heels defeated Notre Dame at home in 1960 and 2008. Clemson (2015) and Florida State (2014) have done it once, and Georgia Tech has not since joining the ACC in 1979.
