A pair of road wins last week have boosted Notre Dame in the Associated Press hoops poll.

The Irish are ranked 21st in the updated poll, rising four spots from last week. Five Atlantic Coast Conference teams are ranked ahead of Notre Dame: No. 7 Louisville, No. 8 North Carolina, No. 10 Duke, No. 18 Virginia and No. 19 Florida State.

Notre Dame has won four straight games entering Sunday’s matchup with Georgia Tech, having defeated Boston College and NC State on the road last week. The Irish have three games remaining in the regular season and are still in contention for the double-bye in the league tournament.

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Irish as a six-seed in the South Region in his latest Bracketology. Lunardi currently has 10 ACC teams in the NCAA Tournament field, the most of any conference.

Head coach Mike Brey’s team is now 2-6 against teams currently ranked, with wins against No. 7 Louisville and No. 19 Florida State.
